Journal of Indonesian College of Surgery (JISC) is published by The Indonesian College of Surgeon, Jakarta, Indonesia. The goal of the peer-reviewed, open-access journal JISC is to disseminate excellent research findings, reviews, and general articles related to general surgery. In addition to fostering a lively exchange of ideas between medical scholars and practitioners, JISC seeks to bridge and integrate the diversity of medical knowledge in terms of philosophical, methodological, and substantive aspects. Contributions that encourage logical discussion and idea sharing between medical researchers and practicing educators around the world are encouraged by the journal.

 

Acknowledgment

The Public Knowledge Project's federally supported initiatives to increase and enhance research access have resulted in the development of Open Journal Systems, or OJS, a journal management and publication system. A multi-university project called the Public Knowledge Project is investigating and creating (free) open-source software to increase the caliber and accessibility of scholarly publishing. Archiving Policy

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. All content in the CLOCKSS Archive and the Global LOCKSS Network is preserved with explicit publisher permission, secured via written contract or through online permission statements. We work closely with LOCKSS network implementers to facilitate development of governance and legal terms that are appropriate to the implicated content, jurisdictions, rights, and access affordances. Our work also licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
